The Royal Aeronautical Society – Australian Division will hold its inaugural Aerospace Industry Symposium – Celebrating Aerospace Downunder in Canberra on 11 October. The event will be held at the Hotel Realm, 18 National Circuit, Canberra, and will be followed by a gala dinner.
Showcasing the Australian aerospace industry, the Symposium will feature presentations from industry leaders in Australian civil and military aviation. Incorporating a premier industry exhibition, project and industry spotlights, business engagement, networking, and professional development, this event will bring together the best of Australian and New Zealand aerospace.
“This Symposium will provide a unique opportunity for the aviation community to come together to not only celebrate highlights and successes, but also share insights and discuss what we can do together to make changes across all sectors of aviation,” said Ms Emily Hughes, President, RAeSAD.
The Gala Dinner following the Symposium will be an opportunity for the industry to network, share experiences and highlight outstanding achievements for 2023.
“I am pleased to announce that Mr. Greg Hood AO will be delivering the Keynote Address at the Celebrating Aerospace Downunder 2023 – Gala Dinner,” said Ms. Hughes. “Following a career in the Royal Australian Airforce, Mr. Hood has represented the aviation industry since the 1990’s. His experience in general and military aviation, air traffic control and aviation safety give him a unique insight into the industry.”
