Blacktree Technology teams with Airbus and ViaSat for UHF SATCOM

Perth-based Blacktree Technology Pty Limited  has teamed with European company Airbus Defence & Space and US firms ViaSat Inc and SMARTSAT to deliver UHF SATCOM (satellite communications) services to international customers. The teaming relationship was unveiled at the GOVSATCOM 2025 conference in Luxembourg.

Blacktree’s UHF SATCOM Ground Segment hardware solution is recognised as a best-in-class capability, the company says, delivering superior performance and enhanced Anchor Station capacity to ensure resilient and reliable UHF SATCOM services. 

This partnership underscores Blacktree’s increasing presence in the international SATCOM market and its dedication to advancing cutting-edge solutions, the company adds. This consortium collectively has more than a century of expertise in UHF Satellite Communications delivering integrated solutions with unparalleled flexibility and seamless alignment with EU and NATO requirements.
