DroneShield wins $21.7M in western military contracts
Sydney based DroneShield Limited has received a package of six standalone contracts worth $21.7 million in total from an in-country reseller for delivery to a western military end-user.
The company says the contracts are for the supply of dismounted Counter Uncrewed Aerial System (C-UAS) systems, spare kits and software subscriptions. The company says all items are already on the shelf and delivery will be this quarter.
The reseller is a wholly owned but undisclosed subsidiary of a multi-billion dollar, global publicly listed company that is required to distribute the products to the end-user. Over the past seven years, prior to this contract, DroneShield says it has received 39 contracts from this reseller totalling more than $17.8 million.
