DroneShield wins $49.6 million European military contract

Sydney-based DroneShield has received a contract worth $49.6 million from an undisclosed European reseller who is contractually required to distribute the products to another European military end-customer.

The contract is for handheld counter-drone systems, associated accessories, and software updates. A significant portion of this hardware is already on the shelf, the company says, with deliveries and payments expected to be completed in Q1 of 2026.

DroneShield is an Australian publicly listed company with headquarters in both Sydney and Warrenton, Virginia in the USA. Although it is best known for its Radio Frequency (RF) Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) jammers, the company also provides RF sensing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Sensor Fusion, Electronic Warfare (EW) products and carries out Rapid Prototyping, and MIL-SPEC manufacturing.

DroneShield says its products are used to protect military, government, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, commercial and VIP security, throughout the world.
