Co-operative Research Centres Projects Grants (CRC-P) – Round 18

Round 18 of the CRC-P program is open for applications, closing 7 October 2025. Applications are invited from all industry sectors.

CRC-P grants provide between $100,000 and $3M matched funding for projects of up to 3 years. Projects must:

• develop a product, service or process that will solve problems for industry and deliver real outcomes
• benefit SMEs
• be SME led
• include 2 industry partners and 1 research organisation partner

Funds can be used for activities such as

• new research
• proof of concept activities
• pre-commercialisation of research outcomes
• industry-focused education and training activities
• conferences, workshops, symposia related to the joint research
• information sharing and communications related to the research

The Program is particularly interested in applications that utilise the development of robotics and automation technologies that support the priority areas of renewables and low emission technologies, medical science, transport, value-add in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors, value-add in resources, defence capability, and enabling capabilities.
